Bible Reading: Ephesians 2:17

"He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near."

"Repentance may be defined as the voluntary change in the mind of the sinner whereby he turns from sin. It involves a change of view, a change of feeling, and a change of purpose"

Matt. 3:8 - "Produce fruit in keeping with repentance."

Wherever there is sin there must be repentance!

2 Cor. 7:9 - "yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. . . . "

2 Cor. 12:20, 21 - "I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged."

Rev. 2:5 - "Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first ..."

c. IN PERGAMOS

Rev. 2:16_- "Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth."

d. IN SARDIS

Rev. 3:3 - "Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. ... "

e. IN LAODICEA

Rev. 3:19 - "Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent."
